Online: atu.edu Arkansas Tech University is focused on providing a quality, affordable higher education option for hard-working Arkansas families from a wide variety of backgrounds. This is achieved through graduate and undergraduate programs on ATU's traditional, four-year campus in Russellville and associate degree programs and career and technical education provided by ATU-Ozark Campus. Large enough to serve students and small enough to know them, ATU intentionally protects and enhances its caring and supportive learning environment while simultaneously offering students life-changing opportunities to explore and better understand the world around them.

Scholarship Information
Highlights Arkansas Tech University academic scholarship changes are in place for 2025, including increases in some award amounts and a reduction in the grade point average requirement for ATU's first scholarship tier. Top scholarship tiers will have an ACT/SAT composite score requirement as well as a minimum GPA requirement. ACT super scores will not be accepted for scholarship consideration. Visit atu.edu/scholarships for additional details.

The free application for undergraduate admission serves as the scholarship application. There is not a separate scholarship application to complete. However, an early admission status is required. An early admission status is determined upon submitting an application for undergraduate admission and a current high school transcript with a qualifying grade point average. Qualifying ACT/SAT scores must be on file for consideration for the top two scholarship levels.

To apply for ATU freshmen academic scholarships, there is a priority scholarship deadline of Dec. 1 and a final scholarship deadline of Feb. 1 of the current award year. Students receiving academic scholarships must be U.S. citizens or resident aliens.

Scholarship opportunities also exist for transfer, graduate, honors and ATU-Ozark Campus students.

Financial Aid Information
Highlights
The primary purpose of student financial aid at Arkansas Tech University is to provide assistance to students who, without aid, would be unable to attend college. All awards are administered by the ATU Office of Financial Aid in accordance with state and federal regulations and the university's equal educational opportunity policy. Trained professionals in the ATU Office of Financial Aid are available during business hours to assist students in their search for financial resources to pay for college. Representatives of the ATU Office of Financial Aid are regular guests at high school parent nights, where they offer presentations about making college affordable. In addition, ATU financial aid staff members assist high school students in the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) during many of their in-school visits. Another way ATU connects students with financial resources is by offering on-campus employment opportunities, including college work study positions.
