Anna Jacobs has been passionate about art since childhood. Since launching her design studio in 2019, she’s collaborated with businesses across Northwest Arkansas, from Meatworks, an online butcher, to HOWSE, an interior design and furniture store. Her work has spanned a wide range of projects, showcasing her versatility and dedication.

“Honing any craft to a professional level demands a lot of hard work and consistency,” Anna said. “The creative process is as much about persistence as it is about inspiration. Turning a passion into a career means not only mastering the skills but also showing up and putting in the effort every single day.”

Her talents for art converged with nature on a recent project. Jacobs&Co partnered with SuperDeluxe and the Razorback Greenway Alliance to rebrand the trail. Not only did she refresh the look of the Greenway website, but she also designed the actual mile markers and mappings of 40-plus miles of trails.

The Razorback Greenway connects Fayetteville, Johnson, Springdale, Lowell, Rogers, Bentonville and Bella Vista via 40 miles of trails that lead to entertainment, shopping, historic sites, state lakes and artwork.

“I particularly enjoy working on community-focused initiatives, such as public amenities like the Razorback Greenway, and I hope to capture more opportunities in this area,” Anna said.

Anna enjoys the outdoors and spends most of her time going on walks, gardening and observing nature up close. If she weren’t a designer full-time, she believes she would have pursued a career as an entomologist (research insects!). Anna encourages students to pursue their interests without worrying about whether it will turn into a career or not.

“There’s plenty of time to figure that part out later,” Anna said. “Finding success and fulfillment is easier when you genuinely enjoy what you do, and it takes some experimentation to discover what that is.”
