Remington Plumley took welding classes at Black River Technical College during his junior and senior high school years. Every Friday, a different welding employer would speak to their class about the industry. When the recruiter from Trinity Industries came to speak to his class, he knew he wanted to work for them. 

“I was able to do all of my certifications during high school and for free,” Remington said. “I now have a certificate that could take me anywhere—and I have no debt from it."
